I'm in a cooking rut.

I feel like I've been making the same tired recipes over and over. ...and over. Mind you, the end result is great tasting food, but I'm getting sick of them. I've been thinking about cooking something with seitan in it, just so I could say it out loud.

Plus, since I've foolishly moved away from Boston/Cambridge, I'm shit outta luck when it comes to good Indian or Thai or Vietnamese eatin' establishments. I'm not saying there aren't ethnic eateries around town here, but I AM saying they all, with the pleasant exception of a couple top notch Japanese/Korean places, pretty much suck.
