Wow- brings back memories. I was 14 or 15 and absolutely ripped when I first saw you guys at the Boston hemp-fest (I seem to remember you all coming out in masks or balaclavas or something...but like I said I was out of it). I was completely blown away, and bought, and really liked the album.
Thanks Chairmaker. Ripped at hemp-fest? Well, you must have been the only one. Ha! Those hempfest shows were good fun, glad you enjoyed it.
Hey Mr Viscera, or may I call you Lo? I hope the show at Slim's was good. I can't remember which show that was. Do you remember who else was on the bill?
I do remember The Bottom of the Hill once or twice and The Trocasomethingorother (with Biohazzid and Unsane).
Anway, I dig both your blogs. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks! first heard your band on rock video monthly with the no woods video and thought it was pretty cool, this is the first I found this album in 192.
I was a huge fan of Stompbox back in the day....still am....amazing after all these years, I can still pop the cd in and it gets me jumping around!!! (truly is amazing considering I'm an old man now, heh heh)
I discovered you guys in Circuit City if you can believe that...your video was playing on one of the TV's...I went over to the CD section and surprisingly found "Stress" there....purchased it on the spot....
This is still one of all time favorite records. This album and Quicksands Slip are amazing and shaped my own writing style. Until I discovered these bands along with Nirvana, I only played DEATH METAL! STRESS is an amazing freakin record!!!!! Wish you guys would have done more man. !!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much for posting this DL. I wore this CD out after buying at your show with Biohazard in Memphis. I turned every single friend I ran with on too.. Great sound. Man what memories.. To be 17 again.. Thanks again for the tunes.
Been listening to Paw, and whilst looking for them on the internet found this, Got the album back in the day, couldnt wait to see them life alas 21 years later Im still waiting.
I bought the tape of this at Best Buy back in the 90's when I was a teenager. Its one of the first "heavy" albums I ever heard. Personally I think its one of the best records I've ever heard and it helped me get into metal. To this day I rock out to it. Its a damn shame the band split up. You guys had something special.

I still have this on cassette somewhere and played the shit out of it in my 20s. Pretty damn cool of you to make it available. Nice move. Thanks.
